In the last episode, it was disclosed that Saul was in custody of Haqqani and it seems that in episode 7 ("Redux") his future is up in the air. “The people in this room represent the best hope of getting Saul Berenson back alive,” Senator Lockhart says to Carrie’s team in a promo for the new episode.
Saul's life isn't the only thing at stake in the new episode. In the promo, Carrie is seen being taken away by two men asking where she's being taken and yelling "No, please!" The flawed protagonist is then taken into a chamber with what seems to be filled with bugs. It's safe to say Carrie will come back alive, but at what cost? More importantly, will Saul's life remain in danger?
