Grey's Anatomy Season 11 Episode 6 Don't Let's Start

Episode 6 of Grey's Anatomy Season 11 airs Thursday night on ABC. How will Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) deal with their breakup in “Don’t Let’s Start”?

Last time on Grey's Anatomy Season 11, Calzona fans suffered a devastating blow. At the suggestion of their therapist, Callie and Arizona tried a 30-day break from their marriage. And while Callie initially seemed determined to save the marriage, by the end of the month-long break she realized her marriage might not be worth saving.

“As the therapy sessions move go on, Callie starts to see that her life outside of the relationship is so full and that the drama is trying to fix what's wrong with this relationship,” Ramirez said of her Grey's Anatomy character’s mindset in Season 11. “Unbeknownst to her, Callie ends up realizing that when she's not trying to fix this relationship, she's finding herself more connected to who she is.”

Episode 6 of Grey's Anatomy Season 11 will presumably deal with the fallout of Callie’s decision to end her marriage. Ramirez warned that things will get “messy” in “Don’t Let’s Start.”

“Initially we do not see sunshine and rainbows in Callie’s world.” Ramirez said before Grey's Anatomy Season 11, Episode 6. “It’s very difficult. It’s quite miserable, actually, because break-ups are messy. Especially when you share a child, there are so many things you’re trying to figure out in terms of separating your lives. We’re going to continue to see the difficulties and challenges when you are in the process of breaking up and you share a child.”

But this will not be the only drama in Episode 6 of Grey's Anatomy Season 11. The synopsis for “Don’t Let’s Start” reveals that April’s (Sarah Drew) mother (Connie Ray) will come to town and bond with Jackson (Jesse Williams). Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will deal with her personal health issues, while Dr. Herman (Geena Davis) will drop a “bombshell” on Arizona.
