Homeland Season 4 Episode 4 Iron in the Fire

Homeland continues to deliver compelling storylines this season, and episode 4 airing this Sunday looks like another winner.

In photos from Homeland season 4, episode 4 titled “Iron in the Fire” we see Saul continuing to hang near Carrie, Quinn back in action at the CIA, and Aayan seemingly ready to help Carrie in exchange for protection. Fara shows up in a couple of these photos as well, as she works with Carrie and Quinn.

Lastly, Showtime has released a photo of Farhad, the new enemy that Quinn and Carrie are after. You may remember that Quinn spotted Farhad in the infamous YouTube video after watching it a thousand times during episode 3.

The synopsis for Homeland season 4, episode 4 reads, “Carrie gets a tip from Redmond regarding Quinn’s lead. Saul calls in a favor with an old friend in the Pakistani military. Fara uncovers a deep-rooted conspiracy.”

Last week’s episode found Carrie getting so excited by Quinn’s lead that she declared that she “fucking” loves him. It was the wrong way to show appreciation towards Quinn, because viewers have come to see that Quinn has deep feelings for Carrie that extend beyond a friendship. The question now is, will Quinn come clean to Carrie about his feelings or will he continue to hide them and wait for Carrie to feel something similar?

Hopefully their investigation will distract Quinn from getting too caught up in his romantic feelings.

Homeland season 4, episode 4 airs Sunday, October 19 at 9 p.m. eastern/pacific on Showtime.
