Arrow Season 3 Episode 8 The Brave and the Bold
Arrow Season 3 Episode 8 “The Brave and the Bold” — Oliver (Stephen Amell), Arsenal (Colton Haynes) and Diggle (David Ramsey) track down the location of a boomerang-wielding killer named Digger Harkness (guest star Nick E. Tarabay) but are surprised when they come face to face with an A.R.G.U.S. team. Diggle asks Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) why A.R.G.U.S. is involved, but she defers until Harkness attacks the building, killing several agents and targeting Lyla. The Arrow joins the fight and gets help from an old friend – The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin). Harkness manages to get away and Oliver teams up with Barry again to find him before he can get to Lyla. When Harkness plants five bombs in the city that are timed to explode at the same time, both teams must come together to save the city.
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. He returned home to Starling City, welcomed by his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland) and former flame Laurel Lance.
With the aid of his trusted chauffeur/bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey), the computer-hacking skills of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and the occasional, reluctant assistance of former police detective, now police captain, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), Oliver has been waging a one-man war on crime.
After suffering a massive defeat at the end of Season One, Oliver started Season Two determined to fight his battles without causing bloodshed. But this new credo was challenged when his sworn enemy, Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett), returned to Starling City bent on destroying Oliver’s life. Though Slade succeeded in hurting Oliver, killing his mother and driving his sister Thea to her biological father, Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Oliver ultimately defeated Slade and saved Starling City from Slade’s brutal army.
In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

American Horror Story Season 4 Episode 8 Blood Bath
Episode 8 of American Horror Story Season 4 airs Wednesday night on FX. So will a major character die in the AHS: Freak Show episode “Blood Bath”?
Last time on American Horror Story: Freak Show, Jimmy (Evan Peters) was able to rescue the Tattler Twins (Sarah Paulson) from Dandy (Finn Wittrock). Jimmy is now more suspicious than ever of Dandy’s motives, but he has no way of proving it.
But that might be the least of Jimmy’s worries. Another AHS Season 4 villain, Stanley (Denis O’Hare), threatened to expose Dell (Michael Chiklis) as gay if he didn’t kill one of the freaks. When Dell’s attempt to kill Amazon Eve (Erika Ervin) failed, Jimmy knew he had to do something to prevent the other ladies from turning on his dad. So the two men got drunk together, with Jimmy finally revealing that he knew Dell was his father. This led to a sweet bonding moment between the two men, but it likely won’t last. Especially after Dell, still feeling pressure from Stanley, squeezed poor Ma Petit (Jyoti Amge) to death!
And Ma Petit is not the only American Horror Story: Freak Show character in danger. In the last episode, Paul (Mat Fraser) was still near death after Elsa’s (Jessica Lange) attack. Speaking of Elsa, she already has her sights on her next victim. By the end of the last AHS Season 4 episode, she had agreed to Stanley’s idea for a “mercy killing” of the Tattler Twins.
So what will happen in Episode 8 of AHS Season 4? Spoilers reveal that “Blood Bath” will feature the introduction of a mysterious character named Ima (Chrissy Metz). Little is known about this new addition to American Horror Story, but it appears she will be part of the freak show.
Also in “Blood Bath,” Ethel (Kathy Bates) will get suspicious of Elsa when people start disappearing from the freak show. Meanwhile, Gloria (Frances Conroy) will do all she can to stop her son Dandy from killing again in Episode 8 of American Horror Story Season 4.
American Horror Story: Freak Show fans are also preparing for the possibility of a major death in “Blood Bath.” After all, the ominous title certainly hints that someone will die. And the synopsis for next week’s episode claims that Jimmy will struggle with a “tragic loss.” Could his mother, Ethel, die in Episode 8? And will Dandy be involved in yet another AHS death?
“In Episode 8, there's some really cool stuff I get to do with mom, with Frances [Conroy],” Wittrock said of AHS Season 4. “It is also where Gabourey Sidibe enters our world. There's a big, big twist in that one that I get to be a part of.”
