Ray J sat Princess down because he didn’t like all the gossip there was about their relationship. But in retrospect he realizes that maybe he shouldn’t have brought up Teairra. His ex’s name acted as a trigger and if he hadn’t walked away – he could have ended up in an altercation with Princess.
Luckily Ray J knew how to reign in his temper. And that saved him from getting into trouble. Then. Yet he and Teairra have always been a different story.
Teairra is about to do another performance. And she’s nervous enough about that. Her last performance was a dud and even Teairra admits that. So naturally there’s a lot riding on the line with her upcoming showcase.
Not only does she have to prove that she can sing under pressure but she also has to work at maintaining her business relationship with Yung Berg. Berg has put his own name out there for Teairra. So if she falls flat again – it’s not just her that’s going to be left humiliated at the end of the day.
Although Berg apparently wants to invite Ray J to Teairra’s showcase. He thinks that would add to her performance. Or so he says. But the only thing that can come from those two meeting up is drama. And Berg most know how much that kind of drama will sell.
They say any kind of publicity is good publicity. Yet, note how Berg makes no mention of inviting his ex Hazel to the showcase. It seems he’s gotten serious about Masika and the two of them have gotten so close – he doesn’t want to jeopardize it.
If only Berg could have been that considerate back when Hazel and Masika used to be good friends. And more than just. Some would say they were even best friends. Masika used to be the person Hazel would turn to whenever she had a problem with Berg. Then Berg got with Masika. And suddenly Masika is reiterating Berg’s story that he never really dated Hazel. She was merely chick on the side to him.
And Hazel was bound to be hurt by whoever he dated after her but the fact he chose a close friend that happens to have reputation on encroaching on other women’s territories means there’s going to be a part of her that wonders if Masika used her to climb the social ladder.
