Last week on American Horror Story: Freak Show, Maggie and Stanley (Denis O’Hare) came up with a plan to kill the freaks and sell their remains to a museum. Maggie tried to warn Jimmy about the plot, but the Tattler Twins (Sarah Paulson) nearly fell into Stanley’s trap. Thankfully, they turned down Stanley’s (poisonous) cupcakes, saving themselves for the time being.
There was also plenty of drama with Dell (Michael Chiklis) and Desiree (Angela Bassett) on last week’s AHS: Freak Show. A drunk Desiree nearly engaged in some steamy sex with Jimmy, but the love-making ended when Desiree started bleeding. Turns out, the bleeding was the result of a miscarriage, even though she thought she could never have children. The supposed Season 4 hermaphrodite is also 100 percent female, as her supposed “penis” was actually just an enlarged clitoris.
“It wasn’t too awkward,” Bassett said of her sex scene with Peters on last week’s American Horror Story Season 4 episode. “You’re playing characters and he’s quite a professional. I think the most awkward part of it was that he was so emotional! Just tears and things coming out of [his] nostrils. That was the most awkward part. But you know, sexually, it wasn’t.”
When a doctor told Desiree that all she needed was some corrective surgery to fix the chemical imbalance in her body, Desiree decided to get the procedure and leave her “freak” husband for good. Turns out she had every right to do so, as Dell was sneaking around with his secret gay boyfriend, Andy (Matt Bomer). But this American Horror Story: Freak Show affair ended nearly as quickly as it began, as Season 4 villain Dandy (Finn Wittrock) gruesomely murdered Andy on his bus.
