It looks like we’re in for more scenes from an Italian restaurant tonight on Gotham, but not the kind that Billy Joel ever sang about.
The three-way power struggle between Maroni, Falcone and Fish Mooney appears ready to get turned up another notch with Maroni wanting to make sure Oswald Cobblepot is loyal to his cause. What he finds out is going to suck in the police, specifically detectives James Gordon and Harvey Bullock.
Also, a dangerous drug comes to Gotham City, and that can’t be good with everything else that’s already going on. Here’s the official synopsis for tonight’s new episode, “Viper”
Gordon and Bullock search for the source of a new street drug that causes euphoria then death. Meanwhile, Oswald Cobblepot works his way deeper into Maroni’s (guest-star David Zayas) inner circle and Fish Mooney continues her plot against Falcone in the all-new “Viper” episode of GOTHAM
The return of Selina Kyle is also being teased for tonight, and fans are always eager to see what’s up with the future Catwoman. Personally, I’m also interested in Gordon’s home life, since it doesn’t currently seem to be on pace to get to where it needs to be to produce Barbara Gordon, though it’s admittedly still early.
